Levels gate the game's systems; contracts, goals, events, and power-ups keep the empire moving and reward you for staying active.
Almost every action earns XP. Your player level is driven by lifetime XP, so spending XP on research or training never lowers it. Each level-up also pays a cash reward.

From Level 8, catering contracts appear periodically (up to 3 active). Hit the blend target before the deadline for a cash + XP payout; the cash scales with your current income rate.

Catering Expertise research boosts contract rewards by up to +50%. Save a power-up for big contracts to blast through the target.
5 daily goals (reset every 24 h) and 3 hourly goals (reset every 60 min), generated by a seeded RNG so they're stable within each window. Rewards are XP, money, or a temporary income buff. Turn on Auto-Claim Goals to collect them automatically.

Buy, stock, and activate; buffs stack multiplicatively.
As you play, events pop up — some ask you to make a call, others resolve on their own. Every one is recorded so you can look back on it.
You pick how to respond. Examples include an Equipment Fire Sale (grab a discounted upgrade), a Tax Inspection (pay up or gamble on the fine), a Viral Marketing opportunity (invest for a boost), and Blender Repairs. Your decision is logged.
These resolve on their own — a banner shows the active effect (good or bad) and clears itself when the effect ends. No action needed; just ride it out or enjoy the boost.
A VIP requests a combo you've already unlocked. Fill the order within about 90 seconds for a cash bonus plus a ×2 income buff for two minutes — a great moment to also fire a power-up.
Every 50 game-days a combo is spotlighted for a +30% income bonus while featured — keep its flavors loaded to cash in. See Flavors & combos.
A running log (newest first) of the events you've seen, the choices you made, and how they turned out — opened from the blender area. Your total choice- and auto-event counts also appear in Stats.
The Crisis Management research node raises the cash you earn from events by up to +30%, so it's worth leveling if events come up often for you.
